Description
On Wednesdays we invite experienced divers to explore the ocean around Maui in a less structured tour that is perfect for photographers and divers who like to pace their own dives rather than following a guide. Ed has designed this trip in the fashion of diving he enjoys on his day off. Dive sites are never predetermined and many of the dives are to out-of-the-way or not well known locations. These trips are always a great adventure and lots of fun. Join Ed (he is usually on this trip) and let's go diving!
Requirements
Divers must:
• Be an Open Water Certified Diver or above
• Have been diving within the last 6 months
• Have a minimum of 25 lifetime dives
• Be comfortable with a maximum depth of 130 feet and rough sea conditions
• And of course: don't dive and then fly or drive up Haleakala crater (the summit is over 10,000 feet).
If you do not currently qualify due to the time requirement you can choose one of the following options:
• Do an ocean dive at home before you arrive
• Do a shore dive (guided or on your own) when you arrive
• Do a 2-tank daily boat dive before your adventure charter

Wednesdays 6:30 a.m. check-in, returning about 12:00
Meet at the Kihei Boat Ramp (map below). Your boat will be on her trailer at the top of the parking lot.

What to bring?
Your Adventure-X charter include: Use of tanks and weights, dive computer, diver safety sausage.
You are encouraged to bring your own equipment but we also offer rental equipment at a cost of $7.50 per piece (1-2 pieces) or full gear (3+ pieces) for $20.00
Please bring your certification card on the first (or only) day you are diving
We also suggest you bring bring your dive log book, sunblock or hat and sun cover.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations within 48 hours of charter check-in time are non-refundable. Cancellations within 7 days for chartering a private boat are non-refundable. PLEASE READ OUR CANCELLATION POLICY BEFORE BOOKING.
Additional Information
Capture memories of your dive with your own underwater camera or have your guide take the pictures, which include a DVD of your dive images. Cost is just $40.00.
There is a multi-day discount available for reserving directly with our office (808-879-3584.) 10% discount off 3 days or more, and 15% discount off 5 days or more! Unfortunately our Internet booking system cannot calculate these discounts. You will also receive these discounts if you add days through our office once you are on Maui.
A portion of your diving fee will be donated the Maui Reef Fund to help conserve our reefs!
12% Hawaii state tax & fees will be added to the retail price.
