Video & Photo Presentations: 4 Music Choreography, Transitions and the Edit Room Floor

Appropriate choices for your music is important to your presentation, and can make or break it. For the normal diving video that shows pretty reef scenes and divers gently interacting with marine creatures, your music should be upbeat and easy to listen to. The use of the “Jaws” theme would only be appropriate when showing dangerous animals like sharks and barracudas, or dark and foreboding shipwrecks, where danger lurks at every turn.   ...more

Last month, I talked about your audience and the organization of your presentation, including its basic format in somewhat of a logical order, or your storyboard. This month, I’ll continue with the storyboard, and address more specific things about your presentation such as some of the shots you choose to use, and how long you should allow them to be viewed.
